This release is haunting -- it conveys to me a sense of restlessness. The mood does pick up in places -- but I always get a melancholy vibe from it, no matter what mood I'm in when I start listening to it.
The music consists mostly of treated (and untreated) cellos, with some nice pads in the background. Consequently, it doesn't always sound like what you might expect from Mr. Namlook (err...Herr Kuhlmann, I mean). Worthwhile but not essential.
