Quietness, at first endless - little waves breaking on the shore - then accompanied by some - pretty futile - wandering pulses, and ending strongly with the whooshing of rainy tires rolling into silence. Loved that first track, and the similar last track. Between those, a lot of too fine-sounding downtempo pianoplay, chocolate breaks, perfect sax, Malaysia Airlines wellness - all taking care of well being - but only massaging the top layers, VISA-zen.
To me this is an emotional flatliner, well produced, mildly melodic, and certainly pleasing to the ear, unpretentious and popular, but this release lacks what someone recently called 'brain tingling:' Schwerelos indeed.
