what a mix. the first disk (romantic warrior: sheesh) is not quite a shicker, but the most (generally) uninspiring thing i have heard from fax. yes there are some interesting more experimental tracks, but the part that 'impresses' is the guitar/bass/drum trio which sounds very wyndam hill. not offensive but something of a surprise.

disc 2, the 12"s, is great - some very faxy stuff from pieces which would sit easily on limelight or deltraxx to ones which sound like Air or Silence. this is one of the best compilations from fax.
