Read the review of Amp 1 on this site, yes, this is a strong release which is both quirky, heartwarming and subtle by turns. Though not as strong as Amp 1 the second part of this series combines truly emotive tracks with very experimental and sometimes unsuccessful tracks. City Mail and Malaria are great uplifting tracks where Dandy Jack puts in a strong performance and the music just bounces along. I'm not sure that the electrical or machine based imagery of Amp works in relation to the style of the music and I find this 'drums and more' idea weakly executed and an insult to suggest it is in any way different to drum and bass but all in all Amps 1 and 2 are pretty good.
